The Lack Mill, Milltown, situated in the North Galway Countryside where the North Galway Flying Column launched a series of attacks in 1921.
The village of Milltown is situated close to the Galway-Mayo border; the North Galway countryside was the setting for several attacks by the North Galway Brigade at the height of the Independence Struggle in 1920 and 1921.
