‘On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights crowded houses patronised the pictures shown by Mr Jameson in the Town Hall. The very enjoyable programmes gone through on these nights included “The Prisoner of Zenda,” and “Rupert of Hentzan.” The general opinion is that better pictures were never shown in Ballinasloe, and another visit is looked forward from Mr Jameson in a short.’
